About The Lesson
Students will learn how to get familiar with the Yukata.
This lesson is suitable for those who would like to personally experience to casually go out in a Yukata.
・Easy and fun for beginners.
・You will learn basic dressing techniques.
・Flexible start date. Please confirm the schedule first.
・This lesson could be person to person at a private salon.
・We also provide Yukata lesson in some English every Tuesday and Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Beginners will learn how to wear the casual Kimono such as the Yukata and the obi sash.
Please make a reservation before you visit.
The Kimono experts can assist you and can communicate with you in some English.
About Yukata
Yukata is a casual Kimono made of cotton and it can be worn on a daily basis.
Most Yukata has floral designs and other colorful prints. Recently, this traditional clothing can be worn by various people. Japanese commonly wear this clothing in summer season (July to August)
Yukata is not as delicate as Kimono. It is easier to wear and you can wash it by yourself.
Lesson content
You can learn practical skills on how to properly wear the underwear,Yukata, obi sash and more.
We also provide lectures on how to properly move in Yukata and the proper way of folding Yukata.
Yukata worn during the lesson
・This is a course suitable for those who would like to take lessons using their own Yukata.
・Kimono accessories such as under-kimonos and underwears can be borrowed free of charge.
